The Lodge of Four Seasons multimillion-dollar renovation plans to bring new and former meetings business back to the lake
The extensive multimillion renovation of central Missouri’s The Lodge of Four Seasons is nearing completion with only a few details to be completed. Alan R. D’Zurilla, Director of Sales and Marketing at The Lodge of Four Seasons said, “The Lodge is the premier meeting resort in mid-Missouri and the remodeling and renovation of all our sleeping rooms, meeting space, carpets, new conference room chairs, improved lighting, upgraded WiFi connections, sound system and other features will enhance the productivity and enjoyment for our returning conferences.”
Renovation of the resort includes complete remodeling of guest rooms and suites with the addition of 55 inch televisions, new draperies, carpeting, fittings, beds and bedding, wall coverings, bath vanities, electric mirrors and lighting, Keurig coffee makers, sound rise clock radios, ergonomic desk chairs and other decorative accessories plus replacement of all exterior sliding doors.
In addition, all public areas are being renovated including the entry, lobby, restaurants, meeting rooms, atrium, hallways, and exterior building enhancements, including the main swimming pool, roadways and sidewalks plus the replacement of the heating and cooling systems as a part of the multi-million dollar remodeling.
Larry McAfee, General Manager of The Lodge said, “The remodeling will also open doors for new business and former clients to return to the lake, especially The Lodge.”
“Several meeting planners have told us that the remodeling and renovations we are doing will put The Lodge and the lake back on the list of potential meeting locations. Several organizations site the lake’s centralized location as an important consideration and our renovations will open new doors of opportunity,” said D’Zurilla.
The Lodge of Four Seasons offers 358 rooms and over 60,000 square feet of meeting space. Amenities include the Midwest’s best 36 holes of golf, a full service marina and five diverse restaurants. The Lodge is also the home of the nationally recognized Spa Shiki.
