Columbia, Mo. – Columbia College head golf coach John Utley announced today that he has signed Emily Hergert to a Letter of Intent to play for the Cougars beginning in the fall of 2016.

The team captain also placed 6thoverall at regionals and medaled at three different tournaments during her senior campaign.

Emily is also on the honor roll and a member of the national honor society. In addition, she participates in Youth and Government and has completed over 100 hours of community service through high school.

“Emily has a fire to be coached and get better” said Utley. “She has a good foundation of fundamentals and a lot of potential to contribute to our team.”
