William Woods Men’s Golf Finishes Fourth at NAIA Fall Preview

The William Woods University men’s golf team finished fourth at the NAIA Fall Preview hosted at TPC Deere Run.

The Owls shot 35-over par 603 (302-301) to earn the fourth-place finish. William Penn won the tournament by shooting 28-over par 596. For full team and individual results, click here.

Leading the way for the Owls were Jack Clarkson and Will Rushworth. Both finished tied for 12th at the NAIA Fall Preview. Clarkson shot seven-over par 149 (74-75) to finish 12th; while Rushworth shot rounds of 75 and 74 to finish seven-over par 149.

Following two shots behind Clarkson and Rushworth was freshman Tom North. North shot nine-over par 151 (75-76) over the two rounds. He finished tied for 18th at the tournament.

Harvey Talarczyk finished the NAIA Fall Preview with a score of 14-over par 156 (78-78). He finished tied for 44th place. Rounding out the Owls was Tyler Fieser. Fieser shot 16-over par 158 (82-76) finishing tied for 54th place.

The NAIA Fall Prewivew was the last fall tournament for the Owls. The Owls spring golf schedule as not been released at this time.
