
UMSL’s Lindberg Wins Individual Title at Midwest Regional, Tritons are Second as a Team
University of Missouri-St. Louis junior Markus Lindberg turned in a four-under par 140 (69-71) to earn medalist honors at the Midwest Regional at Fox Run Golf Club, hosted by the Tritons, on Monday and Tuesday.
As a team, UMSL placed second with a 580 (285-295), finishing three strokes behind team champion Ferris State.
Senior Julien de Poyen was also named to the all-tournament team, tying for second individually with a 141 (71-70).
The Tritons return to the links next Monday and Tuesday at the Lindenwood Invitational in St. Charles, Mo.
