
UMSL Women’s Golf Sets 54-Hole School Record at Perry Park Invitational Behind
The University of Missouri-St. Louis women’s golf team shot a 54-hole school record 918 en route to earning a second place finish at the Perry Park Invitational, hosted by Lewis on Saturday and Sunday.
The Tritons turned in rounds of 301, 305 and 312, finishing 16 strokes behind champion Findlay (297-301-304 – 902) in the 18-team field.
Freshman Emma Thorngren tied for fifth place individually to lead UMSL, carding a 226 (76-74-76), the second-best 54-hole score in program history. Junior Alexa Capesius also finished inside the top 10, placing eighth with a personal best 227 (73-77-77).
