
UMSL Women’s Golf Maintains Hold in Second Place at GLVC Championships
The University of Missouri-St. Louis women’s golf team held steady in second place with 36 holes played at the GLVC Championships.
The Tritons enter tomorrow’s final 18, 15 strokes behind leader Indianapolis, and 17 strokes ahead of third place Illinois Springfield.
UMSL shot a 314 on Saturday and coupled with Friday’s round of 300, own a team score of 614.
Sophomore Emma Thorngren fell out of the individual lead, but sits in third place, one stroke behind new co-leaders Annika Haynes and Paxton DeHaven, both of UIndy.
After shooting an 81 yesterday, senior Stefaniya Ivanova posted a team-best 74 today, moving into the top 10.
