
UMSL Women’s Golf is Second at UIndy Invitational to Open Season
The University of Missouri-St. Louis women’s golf team shot a 597 at the UIndy Invitational, held Monday and Tuesday, opening the season with a runner-up finish.
The Tritons carded rounds of 298 and 299, finishing nine strokes behind team champion Indianapolis in the 15-team field. Their 36-hole score of 597 ranks fifth in program history.
Senior Stefaniya Ivanova tied for second individually to earn All-Tournament honors. Her score of 146 (72-74) was three strokes back of medalist Pilar Echeverria of UIndy.
