
UMSL Women’s Golf Earns Runner-Up Finish at UIS Spring Invitational
The University of Missouri-St. Louis women’s golf team earned a runner-up finish at the UIS Spring Invitational on Saturday and Sunday with four players finishing in the top 10.
The Tritons turned in a 600, which included rounds of 307 and 293, finishing 19 strokes behind Findlay in the nine-team field. UMSL’s round of 293 is a season-low and ranks third in program history.
Seniors Stefaniya Ivanova and Ares Boira and sophomore Emma Thorngren all tied for sixth place, each shooting a 151.
The Tritons return to action Friday-Sunday at the GLVC Championships in Eureka, Mo., at Fox Run.
