
UMSL Men’s Golf Jumps to No. 6 in Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll
The University of Missouri-St. Louis men’s golf team moved up four spots to No. 6 in the newest Division II Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll, released today.
The Tritons have won three tournaments this fall and sport a scoring average of 289.42.
Senior Julien de Poyen’s stroke average of 71.42 is a team-best, while junior Markus Lindberg follows at 71.58. de Poyen has recorded a top-10 finish in all five tournaments and earned medalist honors at the DII Midwest Regional at Harborside, while Lindberg owns three individual wins, including victories in the last two outings – the Midwest Regional at Fox Run and the Lindenwood Invitational.
The Tritons will wrap up the fall portion of their schedule October 31-November 1 at the Golfweek Invitational in Austin, Texas.
