UMSL Men’s Golf Falls to Bellarmine in GLVC Match Play Semifinals


The University of Missouri-St. Louis’ bid for a third straight GLVC championship in men’s golf came to an end on Tuesday morning as the top-seeded Tritons lost a 3-2 decision to No. 4 seed Bellarmine in the match play semifinals.

Bellarine advances to this afternoon’s championship match against No. 3 seed Drury, which defeated No. 2 Indianapolis, 3-2.

UMSL, ranked No. 1 in all three NCAA Midwest Regional rankings this season, will officially learn of its postseason bid on Friday. The NCAA Midwest/Central Regional will be held May 8-10 in Axtell, Neb.
