UMSL Men’s Golf Advances to GLVC Championships Match Play for Fifth Straight Year


For the fifth straight year, the University of Missouri-St. Louis men’s golf team has advanced to match play of the GLVC Championships.

The Tritons finished stroke play in fourth place, shooting a 904 (304-305-295), and will face top-seed Indianapolis in the semifinals on Tuesday morning. No. 2 seed Maryville and No. 3 seed Bellarmine will square off in the other semifinal with the winners meeting in the afternoon for the GLVC Championship.

UIndy shot a field-best 880 (292-307-281) to pace the 13 schools in stroke play and also took home the individual trophy with Graham McAree firing a 214 (72-76-66).

UMSL was led by sophomore Chris Ferris, who tied for eighth place, turning in a 224 (76-76-72).
