Both Central Missouri’s men’s and women’s golf teams will be competing at the NCAA Super Regional this week.
Both teams will be playing three rounds, one each of Monday-Wednesday, April 23-25.
The Mules will be playing at the Findlay Country Club in Finday, Ohio. The 6,722 yard course is a par 72. The Mules have an afternoon draw for round one. They’ll tee off on the back nine starting at 12 p.m. For the Mules, Matt Hoemann, Sam Parrott, John Bonaobra, Cole Dillon and Shayne Allan will be competing. They are grouped with Central Oklahoma and Missouri-St. Louis.
The Jennies will be in St. Charles, Mo. playing at the Missouri Bluffs Golf Course. That is also a par-72 course at 6,084 yards. The Jennies will be grouped with some familiar competition – Lindenwood and Missouri Western. UCM in round one and will be teeing off at 9:15 a.m. on hole 10. Blake Betke, Madison Grisham, Elizabeth Leath, Olivia Sobaski and Jordan Rehkow will be playing.
The Mules have won the last two NCAA super-regionals on their way to an appearance at the NCAA Championships. The Jennies finished in eighth place and are making their third straight NCAA appearance.
