
Tigers Take Third at Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate
Williamsburg, Va.—Mizzou Men’s Golf earned its fifth top-three finish of the season after posting a score of 25-over-par 865 at the Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate .
Radford and Loyola (Md.) both finished the final round tied for first at 19-over-par 859. After a three-hole playoff, Radford claimed the team title.
Redshirt sophomore Jacob Fair carded a career-best 67 during Tuesday’s final round to finish tied for seventh at 3-over-par 213. The finish was the second top-10 finish of Fair’s career and first since the Mizzou Intercollegiate during his freshman campaign.
Senior Ryan Zech tied for 26th at 8-over-par 218.
Linus Lilliedahl and Euan Walker both carded scores of 10-over-par 220 and tied for 36th. Walker improved each round of the tournament, carding his tournament-best score of 1-over-par 71 during the final round.
Freshman Hayden Buckley tied for 48th at 12-over-par 222.
The Tigers return to action March 29-31 at the Hootie at Bulls Bay in Awendaw, S.C.
