Three Jennies Golfers Named WGCA All-American Scholars
The Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) released their 2017-18 All-American Scholars with three Jennies earning the distinction.
In order to be eligible, student athletes must have a minimum GPA of 3.50. This year, 1,011 women’s collegiate golfers were named All-American Scholars. For the Jennies, Taelyn Entriken, Elizabeth Leath and Olivia Sobaski were honored.
Entriken, a senior in 2017-18, has earned the award all four years at Central Missouri. For Leath this is her third straight year earning the award and the second straight for Sobaski.
Sobaski was also the first Jennie to ever compete at the NCAA National Championships, qualifying as an individual. Both her and Leath were named to the All-MIAA team.
