Three Finish in Top Five for Women’s Golf as Tritons are Second at Findlay Beall Classic


The University of Missouri-St. Louis women’s golf team turned in a runner-up finish at the Findlay Beall Classic, held Sunday and Monday.

The Tritons posted a score of 593 (298-295), finishing eight strokes behind team champion Indianapolis and 26 strokes ahead of third place Illinois Springfield. UMSL’s round of 295 ties the third best score for 18 holes in program history, while its 36-hole score also ties the third best in program history.

Senior Stefaniya Ivanova was the top finisher for UMSL, placing fourth with a 147 (74-73).
