Rozner Shoots Par in Round Three of NCAA Championships, +2 on Weekend
EUGENE, Ore. – UMKC men’s golf senior Antoine Rozner used three birdies in the third round of the NCAA Championships at Eugene Country Club in Eugene, Oregon, to shoot even-par on the Sunday, May 29, and sit in a tie for 19th on the weekend at two-over-par.
Starting on No. 1, Rozner’s day started in a less-than-ideal fashion with a bogey on the 401-yard par-4, but recovered to shoot par on the next two holes, followed by his first birdie of the day on the 528-yard par-5 No. 4.
The Paris, France native let his even score slip quickly, however, as his carded a five on the par-4 fifth, but finished out the front-nine even, after notching his second birdie of the day, this time on the par-4, 349-yard No. 8.
Rozner used his second birdie as a rallying point, and recorded seven-straight pars to follow, staying even through hole-15. From there, the 2016 Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year shot his final birdie of the day, this one on the 205-yard par-three 16th. The birdie moved him under par for the first time since his fourth hole in the second round on Saturday, May 28.
A bogey on No. 17 and a par on his final hole of the day, 450-yard par-four left the senior even on the day and two-over on the weekend.
As of the release, Rozner’s tee-time for Monday, May 30 has yet to be determined, but the round is scheduled to start at 11:30 a.m. PT, with waves starting every 10 minutes until 1:40 p.m.
