The UMKC men’s golf team continues its 2018 spring season when it heads to Phoenix, Ariz., for the Grand Canyon University Invitational at the Grand Canyon University Golf Course (par-71; 7,239-yard) on Mar. 16-17.

The UMKC men’s golf team opened up its 2018 spring season with a 14th place finish in the Louisiana Classics at the Oakbourne Country Club in Lafayette, La. Francois Lagraulet led the way for the Roos, finishing in a tie for 34th at +2, 218 (71-72-75). The Frenchman opened the event with a first round 71 that featured a bogey-free, three-birdie back nine, while he added two more birdies on the front nine. In round two, he followed with a 72 that included a run of five straight birdies from Nos. 3-7, while in round three he posted a 75 that featured two birdies, including his third straight on the par-5 7th.
