The UMKC women’s golf team heads to its final road tournament of the 2018 spring season when it heads to Chandler, Ariz., for the EWU/PSU Invitational at the Ocotillo Golf Club (par-72; 6,199-yard) on Mar. 27-29.

About the Roos
Last time out, The UMKC women’s golf team climbed two spots into 13th position to close out the Bradley Spring Break Invitational at the Brookhaven Country Club in Dallas, Texas.  In the event, the Roos finished the three-day tournament at +86, 942 after shooting rounds of 333-320-309.  Cynthia Diaz tied for 15th to lead the Roos in the event at +13.  Diaz finished the event with seven birdies, including birdieing the par-5 10th in each of the three rounds.

This fall, Diaz and Gallagher each notched third place results with Diaz finishing third in the Pat Bradley Invitational and Gallagher coming in third in the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational.  Gallagher, meanwhile, shot a 70 at the Johnie Imes Invitational, tied for the fifth best round in school history, while her 218 in the event and Diaz’s 218 in the Pat Bradley Invitational are each tied for the third lowest 54-hole tournament score in school history.
