Nine Mules and five Jennies named to MIAA Golf Academic Honor Roll

Central Missouri put a total of 14 golfers, nine Mules and five Jennies, on the MIAA’s Academic Honor Roll as the league announced the honors on Friday morning. In addition, Elizabeth Leath of Jennies Golf was named an MIAA Scholar-Athlete.

To achieve honor roll status, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher and have at least two terms on attendance at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms. To earn MIAA Scholar-Athlete distinction, a student-athlete must possess a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, meet the above criteria, and, if competing in a championship sport of the MIAA, earn All-MIAA honors.

Earning MIAA Academic Honor Roll accolades from Mules Golf were Shayne Allan, Ian Barnes, Lee Betteridge, John Bonoabra, Josh Haunty, Kaden Macha, Alex Springer, Carter Tumminia, and Brett Windsor. Jennies to earn the honor were Blake Betke, Taelyn Entriken, Leath, Katie Scheffer, and Kelly Welker.
