Legends Tournament Director Kirk Elmquist recently announced two new teams at the Legends of Golf event coming to the Top of the Rock and the Buffalo Ridge, Springs course in the Branson area in late April: (new tournament logo we got from them here)

Davis Love III, recently named the US Ryder Cup Captain for the 2016 matches to be played at Hazeltine National GC, will make his first appearance at the Legends of Golf event with partner Scott Verplank, another PGA Tour veteran who, like Love, has recently turned 50 years of age and is now eligible for the Champions Tour.

Two-time major winner Mark O’Meara will have a new partner, Scotland’s Colin Montgomerie. “Monty” won the 2014 Senior PGA Championship in 2014.

The Bass Pro Legends of Golf Championship is April 24-26. www.bassprolegends.com
