Mules Golf tied for seventh after opening round of UCO Broncho Invite

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (March 21, 2016) — Mules Golf fired an opening round 330 and sits in seventh place after a windy first day at the UCO Broncho Invitational at Gaillardia Country Club. The Mules are 16 shots behind the leader.

Shayne Allen was one of just 14 players to break 80 on Monday. He shot a 77 and sits in a tie for third at five-over par, one shot behind the leaders, Eric Kline and Eli Armstrong of Central Oklahoma.

Teddy Jones fired an 81 and is tied for 22nd place. Alex Springer is four shots back of him in a tie for 50th with an 85.Travis Mays shot an opening round 87 and is tied for 65th, while Cole Dillon is tied for 75th after an 89.

John Bonaobra shot a 90, playing as an individual, and is tied for 82nd.

The final round gets underway tomorrow morning with the Mules set to tee off on the front nine beginning at 8:30 a.m.
