Central Missouri Mules Golf remains in the Bushnell Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll following their final fall tournament of the season. The Mules check in at No. 24, down five spots from their previous ranking of 19.
The Mules wrapped up their 2017 fall portion of their schedule this week with a fifth place finish at the Washburn Invitational. Shayne Allan was the Mules top finisher in sixth place. UCM competed five times this fall, taking a top-10 position all five times, a top-five position in four events and were the winners of the JR Watkins Invite in Winona, Minn.
The top-three remains unchanged from the previous rankings with West Florida garnering 14 first-place votes to sit atop the poll. Lynn, Florida Southern, Nova Southeastern and Florida Tech round out the top-five.
Central Missouri is the highest ranked MIAA team in the poll. They are second in the region with Arkansas Tech at 19 the only team ahead.
The final fall poll will be released Nov. 17.
With the fall season in the rear-view mirror, the Mules will look ahead to the spring, with their next competition coming in 2018.
