Mules Golf closes out the fall with team title at Payne Stewart Invitational

Final Results

BRANSON, Mo. — The 10th-ranked Mules Golf team closed out the fall portion of their 2015-16 schedule by claiming the team title at the Arkansas Tech Payne Stewart Invitational at Branson Hills Golf Club. The Mules shot rounds of 277 and 296 to finish at three-under par and claim a 23-shot win in the 36-hole tournament.

Teddy Jones claimed the individual title for the Mules with a two-round total of four-under par 140. Cole Dillon finished in a tie for second place at two-under par, two shots back of Jones. Travis Mays was tied for eighth at one-over par and Alex Springer was one shot back at two-over par in a tie for 10th.

Brett Windsor finished at four-over par and tied for 14th, while Travis Simmons finished at 10-over par and tied for 31st while playing as an individual.

The Mules’ schedule is now wrapped up and they will return to action in the spring.
