Mizzou Men’s Golf travels to Raleigh, North Carolina, for its 14th appearance in NCAA postseason play as the Tigers were selected as the No. 8 seed in the 2018 NCAA Raleigh Regional. Mizzou competes May 14-16 at the Par-71 Lonnie Poole Golf Course. Live results are available here.
This is the eighth time Mizzou has advanced to an NCAA Regional under the direction of head coach Mark Leroux. The Tigers have advanced to the NCAA postseason for the third time in the last five seasons.
There are 14 total teams competing in the Raleigh Regional. Those competing alongside Mizzou include No. 1 Georgia Tech, No. 2 California, No. 3 Texas, No. 4 Arizona State, No. 5 Duke, No. 6 N.C. State, No. 7 Liberty, No. 9 Santa Clara, No. 10 Campbell, No. 11 Middle Tennessee, No. 12 Augusta, No. 13 Davidson and No. 14 Iona.
Mizzou’s lineup at the 2018 NCAA Raleigh Regional features seniors Hayden Buckley and Trevor Ullestad, sophomore Rory Franssen and freshmen Jamie Stewart and Jack Parker. The low five teams and the low individual not on those teams will advance to the NCAA Championships in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Mizzou has won three team tournament tiles this season as the Tigers enter NCAA Regional play. Buckley, a First Team All-SEC honoree, has led Mizzou with four individual tournament titles.
