Missouri Golf Post

The Central Missouri Jennies Golf team has been selected as one of 12 teams to compete at the NCAA Central Super Regional May 7-9 at Council Bluffs Golf Course in St. Charles, Mo. The Jennies earned the No. 9 seed in the 12-team field and are making their third straight NCAA appearance.

The Jennies finished fifth at the MIAA Championships last week and have been ranked as high as eighth in the regional polls this season.

Central Missouri was lead by Elizabeth Leath at the MIAA Championships who shot 25-over-par to finish in a tie for 10th place. Jordan Rehkow and Olivia Sobaski finished back-to-back in 17th and 18th places at +30 and +31, respectively.

The 2018 NCAA Division II Women’s Golf Championships will be held May 16-19 at Bay Oaks Country Club in Houston, Texas. The number of participants that qualify for the finals is 72. The top three teams and top three individuals not with a team from each super regional will make up the championship field.
