Jennies Golf tied for fourth after one round at Central Region Preview

Jennies Golf shot an opening round team total of 28-over par, 316, and sits in a tie for fourth in the 21-team Central Region Spring Preview. The Jennies trail team leader Northeastern State by seven shots.

Kelly Welker was the top Jennie in Monday’s opening round, firing a three-over par 75. She is currently tied for sixth individually. Olivia Sobaski is three shots back of Welker at six-over par and tied for 16th.

Taelyn Entriken fired an opening round 80 and is tied for 27th at eight-over par. Jordan Rehkow is tied for 49th after an opening round 83 and Elizabeth Leath is tied for 78th after an 88.

Luisa Gartmann of Henderson State and Ebba Moberg of Northeastern State are tied for the individual lead at even par after shooting 72 in the first round.
