Jennies Golf Sits Seventh at Missouri Western Invite

Central Missouri Jennies Golf wrapped up day one of competition at the Missouri Western Invite Monday afternoon. The Jens shot a 52-over 340 on the first day and sit seventh in the team standings.

Jordan Rehkow leads UCM after shooting a 10-over par 82 on day one. She is tied for 13th with three other competitors in the overall individual standings. She had nine total pars on the day to lead the team and is tied for ninth-most at the tournament.

Olivia Sobaski is not far behind Rehkow after shooting a 12-over par 84. She sits tied for 20th going into day two. Elizabeth Leath (+14) scored an 86 on the day and is two strokes back of Sobaski, while tied for 31st. Madison Grisham(+16) rounded out the team score, shooting an 88 on day one and is tied for 48th.

Blake Betke shot a 19-over par 91 on day one and is tied for 58th. Tied with Betke is Taelyn Entriken (+19) who also shot 91 on the first day while competing as an individual.

William Woods lead the field of 14 teams after shooting a 33-over 321 on the first day. Sioux Falls (SD) is second with a 39-over par 327, while Oklahoma Baptist (331, +43) is third. Katie Warren is the individual leader after posting a one-over par 73 on day one.

The final day of the MWSU Invite will get started Tuesday morning with a shotgun start beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Joseph Country Club.
