
Jennies Golf finishes seventh at Lincoln/MIAA Fall Preview
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — The Jennies Golf team shot a final round 337 on Tuesday to finish in seventh place at the Lincoln/MIAA Fall Preview at the Jefferson City Country Club. The Jennies were seventh out of 12 teams competing in the tournament.
Elizabeth Leath followed up her opening round 77 with another 77 in the second round to finish at 10-over par. She wound up tied for seventh as the highest placing Jennie. Jordan Rehkow shot an 86 in the final round and finished at 26-over par, 170, and in a tie for 34th. Taelyn Entriken was two shots back in a tie for 38th, while Blake Betke shot an 88 on Tuesday and finished in a tie for 41st with a 173, one shot back of Entriken.
Northeastern State won the team title with a two-round total of 612. Marla Souvannasing of Central Oklahoma and Ebba Moberg of Northeastern State both finished with a four-over par 148, but Souvannasing beat Moberg on the second playoff hole to capture the individual title.
The Jennies are back in action next Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 5-6 at the Central Oklahoma Classic at Lincoln Park East Golf Course in Oklahoma City.
