Jennies Golf earns seventh place finish at Central Region Spring Previewv

Central Missouri followed up its opening round 316 with another team score of 316 in the final round and finished in seventh place at the Central Region Spring Preview Tournament at the Rivercut Golf Course. The Jennies finished the tournament at 56-over par as a team in the 21-team field.

Taelyn Entriken was the top Jennie on Tuesday, firing a final round 76, four-over par, to finish at 12-over for the tournament. She ended in a tie for 17th along with teammates Olivia Sobaski and Kelly Welker who shot 78 and 81, respectively.

Jordan Rehkow shot a final round 81 and finished at 20-over par and tied for 48th. Elizabeth Leath shot a final round 82 and finished at 26-over par and tied for 72nd.

Ebba Moberg of Northeastern State won the individual title at one-over and helped the RiverHawks to the team title, finishing at 39-over par.

The Jennies are off until Monday, April 24 when they begin the MIAA Championships at Swope Memorial Golf Course in Kansas City. The 54-hole championship will run Monday, April 24-Wednesday, April 26.
