
Jennies Golf claims first ever team title at Upper Iowa Invite
Central Missouri claimed the program’s first ever team tournament title on Sunday, winning the Upper Iowa Invitational by a 17-shot margin. The Jennies previous best finish was second place, accomplished three times this season.
The Jennies finished the 36-hole tournament at 69-over par 645, 17 shots ahead of second place Concordia-St. Paul.
Olivia Sobaski was the top placing Jennie in third place. She shot a final round 82 to finish at 13-over par for the championship. Elizabeth Leath was three shots back in fourth place, while Taelyn Entriken finished at 21-over par and in eighth place.
Kelly Welker finished at 27-over par and tied for 14th place, while Jordan Rehkow finished in a tie for 18th at 29-over par.
UCM is back in action next Monday and Tuesday, April 10 and 11 at the Central Region Spring Preview at Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield, Mo.
