Jennies Golf Adds Four to 2018 Recruiting Class

Central Missouri Jennies Golf Coach Chris Port is excited to announce the signing of four student-athletes to his 2018 recruiting class.

Coach Port on the signing of his four recruits for this coming year, “We are very excited to welcome Rosie, Molly, Isabella and Brinkley to our program. They have all shown an ability to play at a very high level during their high school and Junior Golf careers. I look forward to the impact they can have on our program this coming August.”

Rosie Klausner is 5’8 golfer from Olathe, Kansas where she competed at Olathe Northwest High School under the direction of head coaches Sydney Tucker and Courtney Mahon Gildea. She was a four year varsity letterwinner and was a team captain for three seasons. In her senior season she was named First Team All-Sunflower League. She was a three-time second team pick from her freshman to her junior season. Klausner earned Second team All-State honors as a sophomore and junior, while garnering First Team All-State honors as a senior. She has helped lead her team to three Regional Championships and in her junior season her team finished third at the State Tournament. She has qualified for state as an individual all four years and helped her team qualify for state three times. As an individual, Klausner placed in the top five three out her four times at state. In her junior season she was a Regional Champion. She also competed in summer tournaments in 2017 with KCGA and KJGA, winning four single day events. She competed at the Prairie Invitational in 2017 and won the Low Junior Amateur Title with three day scores of 76, 77, and 74.

Rosie is the daughter of Joe and Alicia Klausner. She plans to major in Radiologic Technology while at UCM.

Molly Saporito is 5’3 golfer from Overland Park, Kansas and competed at Blue Valley West High School. She competed under head coach Aaron Anderson while at Blue Valley West. In her sophomore season she was named Second Team All-State. In her junior season, Saporito earned First Team All-State honors and was named the Player of the Year. She had an impressive year in her senior season garnering First Team All-State honors for the second straight time. She finished third at the State Tournament as senior and was named the Player of the Year for the second consecutive season.

Molly is the daughter of Jimmy and Michelle Saporito. She plans to major in Marketing and Business while at UCM.

Isabella Hadden is a 5’6 golfer out of Shawnee, Kansas. She competed at Mill Valley High School under the direction of head coach Christopher Wallace and was four year varsity letterwinner. Hadden has earned First Team All-State honors twice as junior and senior. She was named First Team All-EKL as a junior and senior as well and has qualified for the State Tournament all four years of high school. Each year at state, she has finished higher than before. She finished tied for 28th as a freshman, 12th as a sophomore, fourth as a junior, and second as a senior. In her senior season she was a Regional Champion as well. She has shot low rounds of 72, 73, and 74 in her prep career. Hadden was named the PGA Midwest Section Student-Athlete of the Year and is a finalist for the Kenneth Smith Award. She helped lead her team to a Region crown in 2016.

Isabella is the daughter of Larry and Jodi Hadden and is a four sport athlete. She competes in track, was a member of the junior varsity bowling team and ran cross country. She a three-time letterwinner in track and was a member of two 4×800 meter relay state championship teams, while earning three All-State honors. She is Kansas Board of Regents Scholar, a three-time academic letterwinner, and is the student body president. She plans to major in Dietetics while at UCM.

Brinkley Beever is a 5’8 golfer from Siloam Springs, Arkansas. She competed at Siloam Springs High School under the direction of head coach Michael Robertson. Beever was named the NWA Democrat Gazette Newcomer of the Year in 2104.  Her success did not stop there as she was named an All-Conference athlete from 2015-2017. Beever has also garnered All-State honors three times from 2015-2017. In 2017, she earned a Conference and State Runner-Up finish as an individual and helped lead her team to a Runner-Up finish at both the conference and state tournament. Her team had a top 20 overall finish at state in 2016 and a top 10 overall finish in 2017.

Brinkely is the daughter of Bill and Tammy Beever, and is currently competing in basketball during the 2017-18 season of her senior year. She has two older brothers, Raiff and Ryke Beever, who are both athletes at UCM. Raiff is a member of the Mules Baseball team, while Ryke competes in track and field. Brinkley plans to major in Sports Broadcasting while at UCM.
