Jennies Finish Seventh at Lindenwood Invite

Central Missouri Jennies Golf wrapped up the Fall season shooting a 41-over par 325 on day two of the Lindenwood Fall Invite at Missouri Bluffs Golf Course. The Jennie fell two spots from day one to place seventh in the field of 13 teams with a 72-over par 640.

Olivia Sobaski improved her day one score by four strokes shooting a two-over par 73 on day two. Entering the second round, she was tied for tied for 15th and moved up nine spots to grab a sixth place finish. She finished the tournament at eight-over par with a 150. Elizabeth Leath matched her day one score shooting a seven-over par 78 to finish second on the team and tie for 18th in the individual standings with a 14-over par 156. Madison Grisham (+24) finished in a tie for 44th after a 15-over par 86 on day two. Jordan Rehkow (+28) shot a 90 on the second day to tie for 52nd with Blake Betke (+28), who shot a 88 in the final round. They both finished the tournament with a 28-over par 170, respectively.

Brianna Walker and Taelyn Entriken competed as individuals for the Jennies over the two days at the tournament. Walker improved her day one performance by shooting a 11-over par 82 to finish in a tie for 44th. Entriken matched her day one score shooting a 15-over par 86 to tie for 55th.

Missouri-St.Louis took home the team title after shooting rounds of 294 and 302 to finish with a 28-over par 596. Maxi Roth of Missouri-St.Louis was crowned the individual champion after shooting a three-over par 74 on day two. She finished the tournament at four-over par with a final score of 146.

The Jennies finish the fall portion of their 2017-18 schedule finishing in the top 10 in all five tournaments. Their highest team finish for the Fall was at Golden Bear Fall Classic in where they placed second.
